Welcome to my blog, my name is Haukur Guðjónsson and I am an entrepreneur living and working in Iceland.

The name of my blog “Viking Entrepreneur” reflects the two main influences in my life. Firstly the fact that I am from Iceland, the country of fire and ice, where the vikings used to live. Where you come from plays a big role in who you are, especially if it is an extreme place like a small island in the northern atlantic ocean with a population of about 300.000. Secondly, my passion in live is being an entrepreneur. Seven years ago I started my first company and ever since then I have been very active in everything related to the entrepreneurial environment. I have started a number of companies, I have assisted in starting up dozens more and I have taught entrepreneurship independently and most recently for Iceland’s Academy of the Arts.
